Using Key Word Sign in Daily Life: Intermediate Workshop

This intermediate KWS workshop is for anyone who wants to build their KWS skills after completing the Getting Started with Keyword Sign (basic) qualification.
In this intermediate Key Word Sign workshop, you will build your knowledge of Key Word Sign and gesture in familiar, everyday activities, routines, games and songs. You will learn to identify opportunities to use Key Word Sign within conversations and routine-based activities. You will learn how to create a sign environment using strategies and resources to encourage and support the use of sign.
This workshop focuses on building your signing accuracy and fluency skills through individual, small group, and whole group activities. You will revise the signs of the Interactive Vocabulary learned in ‘Getting Started with Key Word Sign’ and learn between 80 and 100 new signs.
This workshop suits anyone who wants to build their Keyword Sign skills after completing the Getting Started with Keyword Sign (basic) workshop.
The basic qualification ‘Getting Started with Key Word Sign’ is a pre-requisite for this workshop.
